Our Process

01.

The Inquiry

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Your interest alone means so much.

02.

The Details

Details, details, details! After your inquiry we'll talk all things details. Type of session, location, any special ideas you have for your session and timing.

03.

The Session

The day prior I like to reach out to confirm the details, it's a great way to go over any changes or ideas that come up. We'll meet up at the discussed location and get to work on creating magic!

04.

The Delivery

Ah, the best part. Gallery delivery depends on the current turnaround time, at the time of our session I will provide an estimate so you'll know what to expect. All galleries are delivered to an online gallery, Pixieset. There you'll be free to download your entire gallery, or just your favorites!

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

All photos are delivered digitally to an online gallery. Quantity will vary depending on the package.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

I find there is a sweet spot to photographing newborns. While there is no rule of when to capture babes first days, my personal prefrence is anywhere from 3-14 days old. You want all that sleepy squishy goodness! Of course there are many coming home circumstances that can vary the time a family is ready for a session. Ultimately, having a family be settled in first is always priority. I will always try and schedule for what works best for you!

How should we dress for our family session?

Whatever you love, or sparks joy! I am personally a sucker for neutrals or a good color coordination. A well thought out wardrobe can absolutely set the tone for your photos. Neutrals can be subtle, allowing your background to standout, or perhaps you go with color coordination, letting the clothes pop! It really all depends on the vibe you're aiming for.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Oh my goodness, absolutely. Truthfully I'm right there with you. I may be a photographer but when it comes to the camera being on myself, it can feel incredibly awkward. The good news is, that's what I'm there for. I keep that factor in mind for each session I shoot, coming prepared with a good little mental catalogue of varied poses and prompts that will feel fun and natural.
